An Entry-level Electronics Technician job in Everett, WA is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. This position requires an Associate’s degree in electronics or similar discipline. In this position you will conduct calibration and testing of fiber optic test equipment. You will also be responsible gathering data during calibration. This position is a 12 month contract position and the pay rate is $18/hour. This position will be on an day shift.

Entry-level Electronics Technician job responsibilities include:
- Testing and calibration of fiber optic test equipment
- Record data gathered during calibration
- Identify out of tolerance conditions
- Interact with other technicians, customer service reps and customers

- A.S. degree in electronics or similar discipline or appropriate experience.
- BS in Physics or Electrical Engineering also acceptable.
- Must possess good written and oral, communications skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Prior experience in calibration is a plus.
- Experience with fiber optics and metrology equipment a plus.
- This position does not involve troubleshooting as a repair tech though experience in this area is acceptable.
- It does require a good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed.
