An Environmental Compliance Technician opportunity is available in Sacramento, Ca for Modis Engineering.  In this role, this person will be responsible for technical office and field support for our client’s environmental staff focused on regulations and more.  This is a long-term contract opportunity and pay is based on experience.
Environmental Compliance Technician Responsibilities include:
* Support team with monitoring regulations that protect the public
* Provide info verbally, non-verbally and in writing on your findings
* Read engineering design drawings
* Collect, review, interpret, apply and summarize environmental data, rules and regulations, codes, laws and ordinances
* Capture, maintain and update data including running queries and providing reports for management
Job requirements:
* B.A or AA in Engineering or 5+ years’ experience
* Excellent scientific research and statistical abilities
* Experience with data collection, reading engineering and design drawings
* Experience with MS Office
* Must have excellent Computer Skills – knowledge of databases and how to use search tools
* Attention to detail and ability to do repetitive duties
