Our client, a MAJOR enterprise company in San Antonio, TX is looking for an EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR who is responsible for planning and administration of all the Windows servers across the company.  This person should have 4+ years of experience in varied areas of desktop, server, and network administration.

Must Haves – Skills / Technologies & percentage of time?
• Must have at least four (4) years’ experience in file space management, network printer administration, server/desktop/user virtualization and email administration.
• Must have strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a working knowledge of messaging systems administration such as MS Exchange and Outlook installation/troubleshooting.
• Must have a working knowledge of infrastructure management software such as Tivoli, EDMS, Citrix, and the like.
• Must have a working knowledge of server administration such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory, MOSS, System Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager, IIS, Windows updates, backups, and reboots.
• Must have a general understanding of IT network and security procedures and standards.
• Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 and Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, and 2012/2016.
• Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with a wide range of personnel.
• Must be proficient in MS Office desktop applications including MS Word and Excel.
Nice to Have – Skills / Technologies & percentage of time?
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent A+/Network+ preferred.
Education Required?
Must have an Associates Degree in Business Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Duties / Percentages?
• Provides enterprise solutions support and/or administration such as Tivoli, EDMS, Citrix, Netvault and the like.
• Extensive Exchange 2013 Experience, MS Load Balancers, Clusters, Fail-over Configurations.
• Validates monitoring alerts; creates support tickets as required; and executes predefined troubleshooting procedures; provides end-user technical support via telephone and ticketing system; and takes ownership of customer issues to include routing, prioritizing, and troubleshooting to resolution.
• Provides Level I and II support to include but not limited to server hardware, Web services, Active Directory, DNS, and email; creates AD groups and users and understands user permission; and performs routine maintenance such as windows updates, server reboots, and backups.
• Provides Level I and II troubleshooting support for custom applications and network connectivity to include installs and configures servers in a Microsoft Windows environment including SharePoint 2013, System Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager, and IIS
