A Fabrication Shop Project Manager job in Greensboro, NC is available through Modis. This is a direct hire job opportunity with a well established and well regarded Industrial and Commercial Systems company. The ideal Fabrication Shop Project Manager candidate will possess a BSME; and vast working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, piping, and welding processes. The Fabrication Shop Project Manager will act as the dedicated project manager for fabrication shop projects and "one off" jobs such as stairs, catwalks, ducts, ramps, etc.

Responsibilities if the Fabrication Shop Project Manager include but are not limited to:

Manage Fabrication Shop Projects from start to finish including: estimating, scheduling, material procurement, design, customer relations
Visit customer sites alone and with other Project Managers to gather field requirements
CAD design
Assist Shop Manager as needed, driving efficient shop production
Develop new business for the shop, bringing in new clients and jobs


Qualifications for the Fabrication Shop Project Manager are as follows:

BSME
Solid hands on experience with sheet metal fabrication
Solid knowledge of welding processes
Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with shop personnel, management, and customers
Must be able to obtain government clearance and have a good driving record
