A key position for Littler’s Global Services Center is the Financial Systems Analyst in the greater Kansas City, MO area.  
 
SUMMARY:
The position will be responsible for the support and administration of some of the Firm’s key financial systems.  The position is required to assist with quick and efficient resolution of customer's support needs.  The position will require a strong working knowledge and previous experience in Enterprise Management system software with a concentration on finance.  The position will require the ability to analyze various sources of data and serve them up to different departments across the Firm on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
 
Overall, this role supports some of the business critical systems in a production environment and sustains the application support to established service levels.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Participate in development, design, testing and implementation of small to medium size software projects working closely with various key departments within the Firm
•Perform database and application administration tasks on key financial systems, monitor and optimize system performance
•Create Ad-hoc custom report requests used for managing the daily activities within Finance and other key departments within the Firm
•Analyze and test programs to increase operating efficiencies or enhance performance of the organization
•Develop test plans and production support procedures for software and systems already in place or in the planning and implementation stages
•Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
•Support production applications, both backend administration and desktop application support
•Participate in monthly financial close/reporting procedures
 
Technical Skills:
•Proven experience with MSSQL and technical requirements analysis
•Minimum 2 years hands on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, using stored procedures, views, etc.
•Experience with Financial/ERP systems and data (Thomson Reuters- Elite and/or Aderant is a plus)
•Degree in the field of computer science or information management systems, or minimum 3 years related work experience
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting Enterprise services and applications
•Strong troubleshooting ability including performing root cause analysis
•Strong communication ability, both verbal and written
•Strong Customer Service Orientation
•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
