A Geotechnical Engineer job in the NJ/PA area is currently available courtesy of Modis Engineering. To be considered for this position you should have a Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering along with 5-7 years of experience. This person MUST have their PE license.
This Position involves field and reporting aspects of geotechnical investigation, engineering, and inspection including field investigation by means of drilling, test pit investigation and other in-field sampling methods; geotechnical laboratory analyses; evaluation/calculation of soil bearing capacity and other geotechnical parameters; evaluation of foundation types and design parameters; report preparation; and construction phase testing, inspection and consultation.
Job responsibilities include:

Performing Geotechnical Investigations,
Testing and Inspecting projects through the complete construction process
Evaluating foundation design for sites

Qualifications:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering preferred
Experience conducting Geotechnical Investigations preferred
Foundation design experience preferred
