A GIS Specialist Job opportunity located in Sacramento, CA is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. You will be responsible for converting videos into inspection while working with our clients specialized software. This is a contract position and pays up to $35.00 per hour.

GIS Specialist job responsibilities include:
• Perform complex analytical tabular and spacial queries
• Maintain GIS standards while working complex related work
• Utilize ESRI-based GIS software and applications
• Use computer maintenance management system (database) to look up asset information such as work orders and service requests
• Review plans to gather information about assets such as length, diameter, location, etc…

• High School Degree required
• Five to Ten years experience required
• Experience with ESRI-based GIS Software is essential, ArcGIS
• Ability to read blueprint plans and improvement plans
• Must have excellent computer skills
• Must have knowledge of databases and how to use search tools
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to do repetitive duties
