Position:     Helpdesk Analyst Job in Cleveland, Ohio
Location:   Cleveland, Ohio
Duration:   6-month renewable contract
 
Modis, a leader in the IT staffing industry, is working with a client on a Helpdesk Analyst job in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area.  The Helpdesk Analyst will be the user’s single point of contact for support and can expect to spend their time working on the phones with end users and may visit the end user’s desk to solve support issues when remote tools are not available.  
 
Responsibilities:


  • Receive calls and tickets regarding Tier 1, 2, and 3 level issues from internal customers.
  • Log all requests in a help desk call tracking software, such as HP Service.
  • Troubleshoot PC hardware and software problems; software installations and upgrades; provide first level of support for applications, network, server, and security.
  • Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via phone and ticketing system in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and thorough solutions to user problems.  Escalate or transfer problems when appropriate.

 
Qualifications:

  • A four-year technical degree or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Knowledge of:

o Microsoft Windows XP/7
o Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010/365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
o Microsoft Internet Explorer
o Microsoft Live Meeting
o Microsoft Communicator
o Adobe Acrobat Reader
o Symantec Antivirus
o iPass
o Cisco VPN Client
o Cisco Security Agent
 
Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Experience using HP Service Center tool
  • Verbal/written fluency in another language (Spanish preferred but also French, Dutch or German)
