Help Desk Analyst
 
Modis IT is seeking a Help Desk Analyst for an on-going, long-term contract position in Cleveland, Ohio.  The Helpdesk Analyst will be the user’s single point of contact for support and can expect to spend their time working on the phones with end users providing exceptional customer service and IT support for all levels of requests.
 
Responsibilities:


  • Log all requests in a help desk call tracking software, such as HP Service.
  • Provide accurate and thorough solutions to user problems.  Escalate or transfer problems when appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot PC hardware and software problems; software installations and upgrades; provide first level of support for applications, network, server, and security.
  • Research, resolve, and respond to questions received in accordance with set policies and procedures.
  • Participate in all aspects of the schedule rotations which may include travel to additional building locations.
  • Communicates with the customer/end-user to gain agreement that the incident or service request has been completed and closes the record.

 
Qualifications:

  • A four-year technical degree or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Windows XP/7/8/10
    • Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010/365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer
    • Microsoft Live Meeting
    • Microsoft Communicator
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Symantec Antivirus
    • iPass
    • Cisco VPN Client
    • Cisco Security Agent

     

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Experience using HP Service Center tool
  • Verbal/written fluency in another language (Spanish preferred but also French, Dutch or German)

 
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour (based on experience)
 
Work Hours: 1st shift schedule with occasional weekends
 
Employment Type: On-going, long-term contract
