Position: Help Desk II
1-2 Month Project
Pay: $20-$30/hr
Location: Glendale, CA
 
Modis Burbank is looking for a Help Desk II, for a great client in the San Fernando Valley area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is well organized and looking to make an impact with a great team.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong working knowledge of Windows OS (though Windows10), Servers (physical and virtual running VMWarehost). Reasonable familiarity with MS SQL Server, IIS, MS Office and other software packages.
• Very strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, but with the knowledge also to know when to ask for help.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Desktop and Laptop PC maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Windows Server maintenance and management, including but not limited to, file systems, backups, software and operating systems updates and upgrades, group policy, etc.
• All aspects of user administration throughout the system
• General printer management.
• Phone systems management.
• Occasionally assemble new desks and chairs.
 
 
DESIRED CANDIDATE
• Microsoft, Cisco, and/or other certifications helpful but not required.
• Willing and able to learn new things and keep up with advancements in the IT field.
• Experience required.
