Job Description:
Founded over 25 years ago, this client is a multi-channel retail company that has its headquarters in Knoxville, TN. They currently have an IT team of over 75 individuals and this company is looking to add on with the perfect candidate to add to their tight-knit and diverse IT department. Culture fit is just as important to this company as technical aptitude is, for the help desk technician will be interacting with all different departments and teams in order to help resolve issues much smoother.
 
Responsibilities:


  • Display the ability to handle tasks based on the priority of the end user requests that will come in via the phone and ticketing system.
  • Communicate with the end user to help plan, troubleshoot, and ultimately resolve their issues in a timely manner, while keeping them informed of the progress.
  • Monitor network nodes and troubleshoot/resolve connectivity issues/outages.
  • Troubleshoot internal and third party hardware and software programs and applications.
  • Accurately document progress and resolution of tickets for end users to better generate tracking reports.

 
Qualifications:

  • Some Help desk and hardware troubleshooting experience.

    • Hardware including Windows, Macintosh, iOS, and Android.

  • A+, Net+, or other relevant IT Certifications would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira or another help desk software.
  • Knowledge about Active Directory and Cisco network and voice gear would be a plus.

 
Current Shift Openings:  

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30pm to 1:00am
  • 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 10:00pm to 6:00am
