JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
Our clients are looking for individuals who have hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, network, and software issues. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and robust analytical problem-solving.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
· Log service requests as open tickets, maintain status, and provide follow-up both to end users and to senior members of the Technology Team
 
· Communicate with end users during the support process
 
· Maintain and reset user logins and passwords for various services
 
· Install and upgrade hardware, operating systems, and software programs
 
· Perform routine hardware and software maintenance and assistance and assists in proper upkeep and utilization of systems
 
· Maintain knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise
 
· Escalate user support issues to higher level when necessary
 
· Keep track of inventory and maintain IT equipment (Desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, facsimile machines, monitors, desk phones)
 
PREFERRED SKILLS:
 
· Must be able to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
 
· Ability to provide day-to-day support of desktop PC software applications.
 
· Ability to perform preventative maintenance on computer equipment.
 
· Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
 
· Exceptional time management and organizational skills
 
· Self-motivated and the ability to follow directions independently
 
· High School diploma or equivalent (an Associate's degree or higher in a Computer or Information Technology related field is preferred)
