An HVAC/Commercial Refrigeration Technician job in Greensboro, NC is available through Modis. This is a direct hire job with a growing refrigeration service company. Ideal Commercial Refrigeration Technician candidates will possess a Universal EPA Certification and at least a year of experience performing maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial kitchen/back of house restaurant equipment, heating ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The Commercial Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for service calls to client sites to repair equipment such as: fryers, ventilation hoods, walk in coolers/freezers, AC units, boilers, chillers, etc.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00. Technicians will be required to work on call outside of these hours, and occasional overtime work is mandatory.

HVAC/Commercial Refrigeration Technician job responsibilities include:


Install new heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
Maintain customer relations during service calls with professionalism
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures


QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a Universal EPA Certification
Must possess at least one year of experience working in a similar position (preferably three years)
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Proficiency with HVAC/Refrigeration wiring diagrams
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
