Job Description:
This position shall support the enterprise network security infrastructure.  The successful Junior Information Security Engineer candidate(s) ensure that all systems are functional and secure by determining, developing and implementing enterprise information assurance, security standards and procedures.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications:  
• Bachelors of Science in related Information Technology field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Security etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of basic networking including IP Addressing, Routing, and Switching.
• Experience with system administration in medium to large corporate environments
• Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux servers at an intermediate level
• Experience in scripting with Python, PowerShell, Perl or Bash at an intermediate level
• Knowledge of vulnerabilities, Cyber threats and information security tools.
• Experience with Regular Expressions
• Knowledge of cloud providers Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Information Security Certification such as CompTIA, GIAC, Cisco or Juniper
• U.S. citizenship preferred  
Candidate Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work on various cyber security and related devices from a security protection emphasis to include maintain, patch, upgrade and monitor systems such as Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, SIEM, Full Packet Capture, E-Mail and Web Security Gateways
• Develop automation processes for cloud security workloads.
• Write custom regular expressions for use within Web Security Policy
• Working with OEM support for respective security systems for issues that may arise.
• Create and close out tickets via internal ticket management system (JIRA)
• Write detailed documentation related to security and network tools and processes.
• Assist in other security and network engineering tasks.
• Prepare network documentation and diagrams.
• Monitor system health and key performance metrics
• Diagnose problems and solve issues
• Work closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices
• Provide after hours on-call support approximately 2 weeks per month
