A Project Manager job in Washington, DC is available through Modis. You must be able to facilitate and coordinate the various tasks for successfully analyzing, designing, developing, testing and implementing the project on time and within the defined project budget.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:


Following the established PMO framework and methodologies for managing projects.
Managing all aspects of project and program management including procurement, resource planning, cost, scheduling, and implementation activities, across multiple areas and multiple project teams.
Establishing a detailed project charter, ensuring that all involved project team members understand and agree what the project’s definition and what their roles are before the project begins.
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and all other affected individuals/ areas of projects and support including project meetings, project plans, financial performance, project scope and key assumptions.
Standard IT and construction project management tasks with a strong focus on ITIL standards, processes and practices for IT Infrastructure.



QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Seven or more years as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager
Proficient with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and Jira). Must possess solid PC skills/ MS Office Products.
Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Must have ITIL certification.
Exposure to Road mapping of strategic goals and breaking into smaller parts through iterations Kanban, Agile, User Stories, EPICS, etc.
Exposure to working with a technical matrixed team of product engineers to implement a product through the product lifecycle management (PLM).
Understanding of UI/UX and how this ties into personas/actors. This ensures you are building with users in mind, not just a system.
Process mapping and the tie to product delivery.
Must have hands on experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Server, and be extremely proficient with project scheduling.
Bachelor’s degree or applicable years of work experience.
Experience in large capital projects for real estate and construction, preferably experience in planning and implementing technology infrastructure in facilities (stations, airports, sports arenas, etc.)
Development and maintenance of Product and Service catalog, SLA’s and OLA (Service and Operational Level Agreements).
Highly skilled in development and maintenance of roadmaps, preferably for technology infrastructure.
