Looking for an Instructional Designer. Our client is implementing Oracle HCM. Good writer and can handle complex projects.
4-6 years of experience
1 is a contract role and the other one is contract to hire. Any experience in HCM space is a plus
Should have experience writing for different audience. Creating online help, Knowledge base article, creating videos and courses.
Microsoft Office, graphics (such as SnagIt), desktop video creation (Camtasia or Captivate). Experience in basic graphics
Responsibilities/Description of work:
· Create training for 6 workstreams & 3 audiences for Oracle HCM implementation
¿ Determine appropriate instructional methodologies and formats
¿ Create training videos, guides/Help, knowledgebase articles, and possibly interactive self-paced training about software and processes
¿ Create instructor-led training materials about software and processes, for other instructors to teach from
· Work in a team, and stay in synch with Change Management team, who may be sending out communications that link to training
· Not required to deliver training to learners
· No travel required
 
Qualifications/Description of skills needed:
· 4-6 years of experience creating training and/or technical writing
· Excellent technical writing skills/experience
· Ability to understand complex processes and custom software systems
· Knowledge of instructional design; Proven experience with adult learning principles, methodologies, course design techniques, and training formats; Ability to interpret and assess training and development needs and to develop appropriate and creative responses
· Oracle experience preferred (ERP/HCM)
· Ability to work with stakeholders of all levels, using independent judgement, influencing, consulting and collaboration skills
· Ability to format articles for readability, to create clear graphics from screenshots, and to use templates for continuity
· Experience creating documents (Microsoft Office), graphics (SnagIt), desktop videos (Camtasia or Captivate)
· Experience creating instructor-led training materials
· Exceptional project-management, prioritization and organization skills
· Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as a strong customer service orientation
· Attention to detail
