A IPC Quality Inspector job in San Jose, California is available through Modis Engineering and Information Technology. The IPC Quality Inspector performs inspection procedures on all types of circuit boards, to ensure quality levels are met at the final stages of production, 1st article piece inspections.

This contract-to-hire job is anticipated to start in early April 2018, with hire within 90 days. 1st, shift available, paying between $18.00/hr - $25.00 DOE

First Shift: Monday - Friday (4:30 a.m. to 1:00 P.M. OR 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 P.M.)

Job responsibilities include:

Performs Inspection procedures on varies circuit boards
Assist in the operation of the manufacturing line
Responsible for the operation of the automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
Data entry using excel, including pivot tables


QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma with 2+ years of prior experience, SMT/PCBA 1st article inspections
MUST be IPC-610 certified (F OR G class)
Knowledge with AOI test & inspections/Automated X-Ray Inspections (AXI)
Experience with visual inspection of products using 2DX machines
