Title: IT Engineer II
Location: San Jose , CA
Duration: 6-8 months
 
The JIRA Administrator has responsibility for supporting the Delivery Solution Architect in designing, configuring and integrating solutions in the project execution and information security projects. This role also performs JIRA administration functions as directed by the primary JIRA Administrators.
 
Education:
Requires at least 2 years’ experience configuring JIRA 6 and/or 7
Requires at least 1 year experience performing JIRA administration functions
 
Minimum Requirements (“Must have” Qualifications):
1.Define, design, test, and propose configuration additions/modifications to Solutions Engineer and managing Jira Administrator.
2. Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
3. Regression test all functionality when upgrading JIRA and plug-ins.
4. Create JIRA training and support documentation.
 
Desired Skills/Qualifications/System Experience Requirements
(“Nice to have” Qualifications):
1. Training given to JIRA Project Team Support resources.
2. Perform JIRA demonstrations to internal security teams.
3. Assist in gathering requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/plug-ins and webhook setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
