Modis Health IT is looking for a Project Coordinator for a 12 months contract role at a large healthcare organization in Atlanta. Come join our team!
Position Description:

  • Formatting of proposal documentation, including creation of proposal templates and shell files.
  • Development of Table of Contents, List of Exhibits, RFP to Proposal Cross-Reference, and other sections of proposal as assigned.
  • Creating in-house and outsourced Tabs for department documentation.
  • Creation of Adobe files and burning CDs as necessary.
  • Proficient use of proposal management software tools adopted by department to troubleshoot software-related issues for proposal staff on all proposal software applications.
  • Final production of proposals including printing, collating, shredding, packaging, and quality control of printed materials.
  • Monitor State websites for release of RFPs, RFIs, and amendments.
  • Assist with arranging off-site and department meetings, including ordering, delivery, and setup of meals, as required.
  • Assist in maintenance of proposal library and proposal database.
  • Assist in maintenance of graphics management log.
  • Assist with development of general graphic designs to enhance technical proposals, including cover designs for proposals, marketing materials, presentations, etc.
  • Assist with graphics support for other business development projects as necessary.


  • Detailed level project planning, tracking, issues and risk management, change management, and assistance with creating various documents and monitoring tools along the Program Life Cycle (PLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Assisting with creating and monitoring various overall IT program, IT program track, and IT Project track documents and tools
  • Creates and manages SharePoint Site Creates and manages Box/Cloud Based Collaboration Tools
  • Create and manages detailed level consolidated project plan
  • Performs scheduling, coordination, project planning, tracking, issues and risk management, change management, and reporting.
  • Monitors multiple IT project streams, monitors changes, close-out.
  • Assists with the development of program plan.
  • Scope planning, definition, WBS, scope verification, scope control.
  • Understands use of change management process-resources, schedule, and scope-for assigned program/project tracks.
  • Demonstrates use of change management process level & above.
  • Detailed activity & resource planning, on time control.
  • Understands the correlation between time tracking the tracking of interdependencies (start to finish relationships) within the program/project tracks.
  • Understands "on time" metric & process.
  • Detailed activity & resource costing, on budget control, develop & manage forecasts)
  • Understands "total cost of ownership" concept.
  • Contributes to the accuracy of IT components of the business case(s).
  • Assists in the preparation of project forecast for resources/labor hours & translates into financial forecast.
  • Helps manage to project budget & proactively communicates project cost variances & provides variance explanations.
  • Observes & learns to assist with quality assurance reviews & quality control monitoring efforts.
  • With guidance, may coordinate the development of quality/testing strategies for the project.
  • Proposes a quality assurance plan for assigned project track(s).
  • Learn to allocate resources, establish schedules, & makes task assignments.
  • Makes recommendations for resource requirements & upon approval, procures resources.
  • May provide input in assigning roles & responsibilities of key participants.
  • May assign work, set priorities, provide guidance in the completion of tasks, & review deliverables.
  • May escalate performance issues of team members.
  • Supports team building & development activities.


  • 3-6 Years of related experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of publication principles.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Proficiency using a PC and associated publications software.
  • Detail orientation and good organizational skills.

  • PMP certification - preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts and methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
