The IT Security Analyst is responsible for supporting business units in fulfilling Security Information Requests associated with client Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Proposals (RFP) and audits. Reviews client contracts and provides suggestions regarding client requested contractual security requirements. Collaborates with Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT Security and business unit leadership to build and maintain an in-depth understanding of each business unit’s IT environment and security controls to ensure timely and accurate responses to Security Information Requests. Determines what information can be shared with clients and external parties at different phases of the client relationship to provide assurance of our Security Program, without compromising the IT Security posture of the organization.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Acts as a sole point of contact to complete highly unique, voluminous and detailed Security Questionnaires utilizing expertise in IT Security, Risk Management, related frameworks and by building and maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding each business unit’s IT environment and security controls.
Reviews and redlines client requested contractual security requirements and suggests contractual language updates to ensure compliance with security terms.
Provides suggestions to Legal and Procurement teams regarding what security terms we can accept from clients and which security terms we expect our vendors to include in contracts; works to enable and/or assist Legal/Procurement in ensuring favorable terms are negotiated.
Proactively builds relationships with both requesting parties and those with domain specific expertise to ensure successful representation of the IT Security Program to external parties.
Manages a large volume of high-detailed projects while ensuring quality, timely delivery and open communication with the requesting party to ensure they are kept abreast of progress and any potential risks to successful completion.
May review Procurement contracts and participate in third-party vendor on-site audits to determine level of compliance with organizational security policies and contractual terms; may make suggestions to third-party vendor management regarding areas of non-compliance and expected action based on audit results.
 
Education and Experience:
 
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or a related field
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an IT Audit, Audit Liaison, IT Security, Risk or similar role.
Certifications: Current designation (or ability to obtain within a reasonable period after hire) as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification is preferred.
 
Requirements:
 
Ability to understand risk assessments, the identification of mitigation controls and the determination of residual risk.
Knowledge of and ability to liaise or facilitate technology audits and review IT Security contract clauses.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply IT Security, Risk Management and control frameworks, such as ISO 27000 series, COBIT, SOX and PCI.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply IT Security related laws, rules and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
 
Preferred Experience:
 
Experience working in a global organization is highly desirable.
