A Security Specialist job in Jacksonville, FL is available. Qualified candidates must understand database security and be proficient with the use of tools used to administer security with various databases, Mainframe, UNIX/LINUX security, Oracle, and AD. The Technician will be responsible for activities that ensure all users in the organization have the appropriate levels of access to applications, systems, and data resources.
Security Specialist job responsibilities include:

End-to-end completion of security requests
Provisions user security roles & manages security groups across systems, platforms, databases, applications, servers, directors, and folders
Provides input to drive process improvements
Creates/maintains application scripts and uses application specific tools to create or manage application security


Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
Two or more years of professional experience with IT Security Administration
Must have proficiency with RACF, provisioning user access, and proficiency with TSO and tools used to administer security on the mainframe
Must have understanding of LDAP groups and user accounts and tools used to administer security in this environment
