This role will be fast-paced and provides technical support to our customer base to resolve voice, Internet and data installation and connection issues. The Technical Support Representative ensures that issue resolution is accomplished in a customer-centric yet timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, a passion for technology and a positive proactive nature.

Our Customer Service team members are encouraged to use their initiative and think outside the square to exceed customer expectations while meeting the needs of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of incoming contacts and troubleshoot issues regarding configuration, setup, connectivity, and functionality.
  • Using internal applications for entering and tracking tickets.
  • Provide customer training.
  • Responding to email & web inquiries in a professional, informative and well-worded way.
  • Qualify technical issues and gather information about their scope, history, and details for escalation.
  • As part of a team, balance incoming calls, emails, and other tasks, always aware of service levels and answer times.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Associate degree or higher in a computer related field
  • 1+ years technical support experience
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity working with Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.
  • Fundamental Networking comprehension.
  • Familiarity with web-based applications and services.
