Modis is currently seeking an ITIL Certified Service Delivery & Outage Analyst for an exciting 12+ month contract with our large Insurance & investment management client, located in Omaha.  
 
Our client is a Fortune 250 organization, and a national leader for insurance, retirement planning and investment management services.  This role will be working in the Operations / Production team as the primarily point of contact to manage, mitigate and prevent production outages.
 
This is a contract job that starts off as a 12-month duration, and has a strong likelihood of extension into 2019 (12-18+ Months).  National candidates are welcome to apply, but must be willing to relocate to Omaha to work on-site Monday – Friday.
 
Primary day to day responsibilities for this ITIL Certified Service Delivery Analyst will include:
- Partnering with, and monitoring business suppliers for their part in delivery services and mitigating production outages due to vendor products.
- Coordinating all infrastructure maintenance and upgrade activities, including change windows
- Proactively addressing any and all issues that surface that may have an impact to the availability or service offerings.
- Analyzing and reporting on critical production issues
- Partnering with both business and technical groups to support ongoing business activities
- Evaluating, monitoring and aligning KPIs and metrics to monitor and track successful operation performance
- Using ServiceNow and JIRA as tools to monitor and proactively address service outages through managing service levels, systems availability, capacity, suppliers, change management, etc.  
- Using ServiceNow and JIRA to gain visibility into the changes, incidents, problems, and service requests that have led up to a production outage to help mitigate in the future
- Bringing a firm foundation in IT Service Management to help our client with their current systems availability, capacity and make recommendations targeted towards improvement
 
Required Qualifications for this role include:
- ITIL v4 Certification Required
- Minimum 3 years in an IT Service Management role
- Bachelor / 4-year college degree is highly preferred, but is not a mandatory requirement
- Advanced hands-on knowledge with ServiceNow, or a similar ITSM platform.
- Advanced hands-on experience with JIRA (or other ticketing platforms)
Prior Insurance / Investment Management industry experience is a plus
