We are seeking talented mid-level Java developers for contract to hire job opportunities in Rockville, MD.  Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
• Collaborating with various stakeholder developers/programmers working on data exchange activities related to reporting systems
• Heavy contribution and involvement in technical discussions about key systems architecture pieces necessary to build out foundational elements to facilities data exchange.
• Bringing knowledge and experience of best practice gleamed from past experience with data exchange projects.  
• Developing and programming foundational XML/XSLT schemas, APIs, web services and other components to be utilized by 3rd parties to import and export data to/from DATIM.
• Assist with the documentation activities to facilitate 3rd part developers’ smooth interaction with data exchange components.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or related technology field.
• 5 years work experience primarily focused on building system architectures to facilitate data exchange.  
• 5yrs experience developing Web Services and APIs implementing REST, SOAP, JSON, JQuery, XML and XSLT.
• Experience working with or in low technology resource environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally about 30%. (not likely to be that much)
• Interest in and commitment to international development outcomes.
