Are you Jr. Help Desk Technician looking for a new role in the Omaha area? Modis Omaha is looking for a Jr. level candidate for one of our great clients, to join their infrastructure team. This position will primarily be responsible for replacing and deploying desktop workstations.  This individual will also be involved in inventory, desktop/help desk support and will have the opportunity to work with our infrastructure administrators in a hands-on environment. In this role, you will work in an evolving infrastructure technology environment with opportunities to learn and expand your help desk technician and desktop/laptop administration skills.
The primary responsibilities include:
• Configure and deploy desktops/laptops as replacements or additions.
• Work with users to identify/resolve desktop hardware/software issues.
• Revise/document desktop/laptop inventory.
• Work with Infrastructure team to address help desk issues.
Requirements include:
• Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in network technology, computer science, management information systems, or related degree
• Previous experience in desktop support
• Proven ability to take initiative to learn new skills and apply them to the workplace
• Ability to operate and deliver solutions with a customer service mentality
• Strong communication/customer service skills
