Modis is looking for a Jr. to Mid Billing/Business Analyst for our client in Overland Park, KS. The role is within the Pricing/Billing department. They are rolling out a new project that will take a few years to complete. They are looking for sharp, business minded individuals who have a knack for data and are easily trained. No experience is necessary for this position as there will be training for the role.
Requirements for this
Billing/Business Analyst role include:

  • Able to translate business requirements
  • Experience working with tables and/or databases
  • Ability to run queries (SQL or Access)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Technical aptitude
  • Ability to suggest improvements to the current process

Nice-to-have's for this role

  • Able to write user stories
  • Billing/Pricing experience
  • Agile Experience

Billing/Business Analyst will be working with 5 stakeholder groups to translate marketing requirements into forms to be input into the IT system. Once acclimated this position will participate in meetings and on conference calls, eventually presenting ideas to the groups. It is important to challenge the current system and have the ability to ask they "whys" to how their process currently works.
This is a Long-Term Contract position but will only look at candidates that could potentially be brought on permanently. No C2C candidates unless they can convert.
