Modis a yearlong consulting job for a senior project coordinator/junior proJect manager that can help with a large IT project for a well-established client.
Job Duties

  • Work with Business Analysts and Business Owners to clearly define project scope, objectives deliverables and criteria for success
  • Creation of project work plans and schedules
  • Load and track project work plans & schedules in PMO’s enterprise reporting tool (MS Project OnLine)
  • Serve as single point of contact for coordination with project vendors
  • Review and analyze IT project plans and make recommendations regarding prioritization
  • Plan and track distribution and installation of asset allocations
  • Keep track and validate project financials from Statement of Work, Purchase Orders, Invoicing & payments
  • Identify and track project risks and issues, escalate to management as necessary
  • Act as BA as needed and coordinate change management requests
  • Regularly prepare stakeholder progress reporting on business process improvement efforts including status reports and presentations
  • Create and execute Transition Plans to ensure smooth transfer of responsibility from project to ongoing operations


  • Minimum of 5 years increasingly responsible experience successfully managing various projects, preferably in healthcare, including an outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes
  • Familiar with standardized Project Management methodologies
  • Excellent issue and problem management skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a large team or independently
  • Demonstrated leadership with strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills
  • Experience in the Medicaid claims processing system-A PLUS
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal, as well as the ability to maintain a respectful and diplomatic demeanor while handling challenging aspects of projects
  • Experience as a Project Manager for high profile projects in a PMO environment
  • Experience as business process redesign
