A Logistics Analyst job with the World's leading Search Engine Company located in Mountain View is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. The ideal candidate will coordinate all GDO equipment shipments that originate in the U.S. Analysts are expected to coordinate all efforts with our client's external suppliers such as freight forwarders, warehouses, brokers and importer of records. They are also responsible for ensuring equipment stock availability, analyst monitor the flow of equipment and trigger their re-ordering.


Logistics Analyst job responsibilities include:



● Orchestrate all shipment requests for international orders; track shipments ensuring
timely delivery.
● Work with our client's GDO Logistics to make sure that all shipments comply with
international export/import regulations.
● Generate metrics to keep track of all international shipments lead times and inventory
monthly consumption.
● Help Logistics manager draft and implement compliance initiatives, policies and
procedures in accordance to our client's policies and operational procedures to ensure
compliance with Customs /WTO/WCO regulations, HTS classification structure and
worldwide equivalents, customs duties and refunds, global/regional import tax/duty
reduction programs, and export requirements.
● Ability to create, review and revise protocols and processes related to equipment
forecasting, local inventory management and domestic distribution.
● Helpdesk support via ticketing system.


Qualifications:



● BS/BA in Logistics, International Trade or Business Management and at least 2 years of
relevant industry experience required.
● Excellent analytical, audit, organization skills. Including ability to collect, structure,
analyze and communicate data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
(English).
● Solid Excel knowledge, able to create and manage spreadsheets and dashboards.
● Strong knowledge/background in International trade compliance.
● Ability to multitask, and work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
● Strong knowledge on customs regulations and clearance processes.
● Wide knowledge on all type of export documents such commercial invoice, SLI’s,
packing list, shipper’s export declarations, certificates, etc.
● General knowledge on tariff classifications, import duties and taxes.
