A Machinist in Fremont, CA is currently available courtesy of Modis Engineering, An Adecco Group Company.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating VTL’s, VMC’s, HMC, MMC’s, CNC Lathes, Hass SL40, Mori-Seiki SL35, CL25 and CL253. Salary for this position is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour and for 7+ years’ experience salary is $30.00. This is a long-term position.

Shifts Available:
Day Shift – Monday – Thursday – 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
Swing Shift – Monday – Thursday 10% differential – 3:00 pm to 1:30 am
Weekend 1st: 15% differential – Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 6:00 am to 6:30 pm
Weekend 2nd: 20% differential – Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 6:00 pm to 6:30 am

Machinist job responsibilities include:

Read blueprints with high level of understanding of GD&T

Use of overhead cranes and other lifting devices

Ability to accurately fill out daily documentation


Three to five years prior machine shop experience working in a fast-paced environment

Cell experience a plus

Must have own tools

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written

Must have a High School or GED
