A Maintenance Manager job in Kingman, AZ is available through Modis. This is a long term, direct hire opportunity with a well established and financially sound company. Ideal Maintenance Manager candidates will possess an Associates Degree with a technical focus, and at least seven years of applicable work experience. The Maintenance Manager will manage the maintenance department by supervising daily work and schedules, as well as capital projects and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). The Maintenance Manager will provide guidance and impart their technical knowledge about electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and fabrication to their maintenance crew and other locations via phone or travel to other plants within the business unit.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager include but are not limited to:

Manage the predictive/preventative maintenance program
Responsible for LEAN manufacturing initiatives and KPIs
Ensure all department safety practices are followed
Provide technical support (training and troubleshooting) to maintenance and manufacturing personnel
Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer's specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and ancillary equipment
Manage procurement activity of repair and maintenance goods and services
Manage capital authorizations as assigned by General Manager
Supervisory responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and checking work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems; establishing standards of performance; establishing and shaping new policies, and carrying out established policies

Qualifications for the Maintenance Manager are as follows:

Minimum education required: Associates Degree (technical focus preferred) or accredited apprenticeship training in a recognized trade
At least seven years of experience working in an industrial maintenance capacity
Prior supervisory experience
Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods and techniques
Experience with LEAN manufacturing and KPI's
In-depth knowledge of and experience with predictive/preventative maintenance programs is required
