Modis Engineering has a direct hire opening for a 2nd or 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Findlay, Ohio. You will need a minimum of 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of electrical theory, as well as basic understanding of mechanical, and fluid power systems. Proficient with schematics and drawings. You will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, inspecting equipment and providing daily reports.


Responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician job Include:

-Complete Preventative Maintenance in designated area during production and non-production time.
-Assist Production Staff maintain production and look for potential problems.
-Conduct daily activity reports.
-Learn the equipment in assigned area.
-Support weekend work and follow-up reports.
-Parts control (order, clean and inventory).
-Maintain cleaned organized work area.
-Troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

-PLC troubleshooting
-Mechanical ability
-Basic electrical skill set (Theory AC 3 phase and DC control)
-Flexible to work different shift assignments
-Travel as needed to support other plants and contractors
