A Maintenance Technician job in Columbus, OH is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. The Maintenance Technician job should be able to work either 2nd or 3rd shift. No degree is required; however, the ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience working in a team environment, preferably in a food plant. The Maintenance Technician job will be working with 208/480 power and circuits as well as conducting systematic problem solving and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC’s. The Maintenance Technician job should have strong communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:
-Utilizing computer maintenance management systems (entering work, completing work, and documenting corrections taken)
-Reading and interpreting blueprints
-Troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC’s
-Working with AC/DC and problem solving system errors

-Industrial electrical experience with 208/480 power and circuits
-Knowledge of material handling equipment (conveyors, Fanuc Robots, Lantech Stretch Wrappers)
-Knowledge of packaging equipment (Vertical Form Fill seal, cartoner, case packaging equipment)
-Strong mechanical experience with drives, gear boxes, chain/sprockets, etc.
-Experience with ingredient storage and transfer system
-Experience with variable frequency drive
-GMP/SQF experience preferred
