Modis has a current job opportunity for a Manufacturing Auditor
2nd shift : Sun. - Tues. 7pm to 7am Wed. 7pm to 1am
Located in Torrington CT.

Inspect manufactured material and communicate with molding personnel

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ability to clearly communicate between personnel in Manufacturing & Quality
2. Keep accurate, daily records
3. Perform collection of machine shots for inspection
4. All aspects of inspection duties (paperwork, gauging, visual & dimensional)
5. Verification of color to master color chips
6. Keep inspection area clean and organized
7. Perform final inspection
8. Perform back tracking (inspect boxed material for possible nonconforming parts
9. Assist in manufactured gauging process
10. Answering Alarms
11. Employees may be required to perform other job duties at the discretion of the management.

Demonstrate the ability to perform all aspects of their job with limited supervision. High School Diploma minimum and equivalent experience preferred, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience *To be able to deal with and react to different situations with minimal supervision, strong problem solving skills required Skills *To perform their duties in a safe and productive environment Problem solving *Written and verbal communication *Sitting, standing, walking, performing repetitive movements, lifting and carrying 20-50 pounds
