Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:

-Experience to safely and efficiently plan and implement engineering methodologies and procedures based on the companies methods and systems to ensure high-quality production at minimum cost while strictly adhering to established standard operating procedures and company policies.
-Solve technical problems associated with the manufacturing process related to raw materials, intermediate products, final products, equipment and containers.
-Use experience and judgment to plan, execute and accomplish goals in conjunction with performing a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing processes.
-Adherence to corporate, State and Federal regulations and guidelines when handling hazardous materials or when exposed to hazardous situations.
-Must adhere to departmental and corporate standard operating procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-Solve technical problems in the manufacturing process.
-Standardize manufacturing equipment and processes
-Determine and evaluate specifications for raw materials, intermediate product, final products, equipment, containers, labels etc.
-Design, evaluate and qualify manufacturing facilities and equipment.
-Provide instruction on the usage and maintenance of manufacturing facility and department equipment, including the introduction of new equipment.
-Document and revise specifications and procedures related to the manufacturing faculty processes and equipment.
-Improve the manufacturing processes to reduce manufacturing costs, improve quality and promote safety.
-Pursue activities for continuous improvement related to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
-Attending annual and/or quarterly refresher courses related to hazardous waste management and handling, general safety, quality management, and environmental management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S or M.S degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent education.
-Looking for one to three years’ experience in a related manufacturing engineer environment .
-Knowledge of statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments required.
-Maintain ISO document and record control.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
-Ability to effectively communicate in English (both oral and written).
-Have stable, verifiable work history with excellent attendance record.
-Must be comfortable working with chemicals including, but not limited to, corrosives and organic solvents.
