A Manufacturing Engineer is available in Louisville, Ky courtesy of Modis on a direct-hire basis. To be qualified for this position you will have a Bachelor's Degree and expereience within a manufacturing enviroment.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities;

Provide technical support for existing product lines.
Improve productivity of and reduce the floor space required by existing product lines.
Perform feasibility studies and provide tooling, space and labor estimates for new business opportunities.
Design and establish assembly methods for new work cells procure and setup tooling and equipment for these new work cells to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
Support the APQP process through development of PFMEAs and product work flows.
Support the plant quality process through mistake proofing new and existing business production operations.

Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical.
MBA or Masters in Engineering Preferred.
Five years of manufacturing experience, preferably automotive.
Applicant should have excellent PC skills; including Word, Excel and Access, AutoCAD, ProEngineer software experience would be a plus.
