A Mechanical Assembler job in Ballston Spa, NY is available through Modis. In this job you will be working as part of a team to pick parts used in production of mechanical and electrical assemblies. You should be familiar with reading Bill of Materials, blue prints and other engineering documentation. This is Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm job with an hour lunch. This is six-month contract to direct hire role, with compensation based on experience.

Mechanical Assembler job responsibilities include:
• Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
• Assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
• Maintain inventory of product in work stations
• Use of hand tools for light fabrication

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• Two to four years of mechanical assembly experience is preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Strong commitment to safety
