Microsoft Navision Programmer Analyst DIRECT HIRE JOB OPPORTUNITY, Research Triangle Park, NC
 
Modis is seeking to fill a Microsoft Navision Programmer Analyst DIRECT HIRE JOB OPPORTUNITY, Research Triangle Park, NC. The successful candidate:
 
• Review computer programs used by a company and advise business stakeholders on ways to make processes more efficient and employees more productive.
• Develop test plans and other necessary procedures to maintain the integrity of the systems.
• Responsible to bridge the business problems and the technology solutions.
• Responsible to work with system owners of key business systems used within client:
• Microsoft NAV 2013 or current version:  This system is the ERP system utilized to monitor, track, report and maintain operations in the US.  It is critical this system be controlled and managed on a regular basis. Will require significant interaction with Operations and Finance departments.
• Microsoft CRM: This system was implemented to capture, track, manage and utilize the information of our customer base to improve communication and relationships fostered in the field.  Other functions include maintain market data and contact management for various center and governmental reporting. Will require significant interactions with Sales, Operations and Marketing.
 
 
Alternate Responsibilities
• Assist other departments in achieving company goals when dept. overloads arise.
• Accept special projects and assignments as business requires.
• Search for ways to streamline procedures and otherwise improve efficiency for the dept. and the company as a whole.
• Responsible for maintaining all business systems as operational.  Maintain change control procedures for systems to ensure integrity of systems.
• Responsible to work with various departments and personnel to improve efficiency of systems when required.
• Act as the liaison between System owners, consultants, Developers and project management groups
• Collaborate with QA/RA team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes
• For all company systems provide the following:
• Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
• test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
• Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
• Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering.
• Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
• Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.
• Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes.
• Recommend new equipment or software packages as needed.
 
 
 
Required Skill Sets
MS Navision-SME
• Good communication skills, as well as fundamental technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-wide operating systems both the underlying processes and the automation thereof with ERP system Ideal experience would be system design and modifications (in an inventory-based transaction environment) from conceptualization to the point of presentation of specs for coding by programmers.
• Computer skills:  
• Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Web portal applications for banking, charge cards, and payroll processing.
• Very strong organization, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers Strong analytical skills.
• Commitment to self-development and expanding your knowledge base.
• Healthcare industry experience important.
• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
• Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
• Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development, and user support including some experience with e-commerce web sites
 
Educational or Professional requirements
 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management/Computer Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
 
• The position requires experience in a related area. You must have a good understanding of relational databases, web and client-server concepts, and be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
