Modis is currently seeking a Mid-Level Technical Support (Tier II Desktop Support) for an exciting Year Long Contract job opportunity with our large Banking and Financial client located in Austin, TX.
This job opportunity is scheduled to last 12 months with extensions! This is an amazing opportunity to get your name out there with a global client that caters to billions of people worldwide.
- Working on a team of Support Individuals working to troubleshoot and resolve the basic and intermediate technical issues for an office staff of around 200 people
- Responding to and closing out trouble tickets using cutting edge mobile ticketing technology
- Analytical troubleshooting for a wide range of Laptop, Desktop and Printer issues.
- Working with Microsoft Active Directory and DNS Concepts (TCP/IP networking) to troubleshoot and resolve LAN issues, Permissions, etc.
- Troubleshooting and supporting Windows OS issues (Windows 7, Windows 8)
- Supporting MS Office 2013 software
- Supporting VPN remote connections and general network connectivity issues.
- Required: Bachelor of Arts or Science (4-year college degree)
- 3-5 years’ experience using ticket tracking tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, etc.
- Strong Customer Service and Face to Face interaction skills!
- Strong communication skills required
