A Mobile QA job in Louisville, KY, long term contract opportunity, is available courtesy of Modis. In this position you will perform Software and Product Quality Verification and Validation on Android and/or iOS apps while managing test plan development and test execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in process improvement activities.

Mobile QA job responsibilities include:

Execute software qualification efforts for product controls
Develop and maintain software test plans
Perform manual and automated testing
Execute, maintain, and update test scripts
Record and track to resolution SW Defects
Maintain and monitor SW Quality Metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a LEAN development environment


BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing for Android and/or iOS apps
Ability to read, understand, and create Technical Documents (Specs, Reqs, Processes, Test Plans)
Good understanding of firmware/software development processes.
Good analytical skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Demonstrated initiative, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.


Experience with embedded software
