Due to client restrictions, subcontracting not available. Only accepting W2 and H1B Transfer/Sponsorship candidates
Our client is a leader in the oil and gas vertical and they are looking for a .Net Programmer that will be developing .NET solutions to replace existing tools created in Access and Excel.
Work Description:
• Develop client/server .NET solutions to replace existing functionality in Microsoft Access
• Work with IT Business and IT process owner to capture and refine specifications
• Use TFS to manage and steward development activities
• Apply UI/UX concepts to form design and functionality
• Develop estimates and manage all aspects of the build including design, development, testing, QA, UAT and migration to production and source code management.
Skills Required:
• Strong application develop skills; at least 3 years development experience using an object-oriented programming language (e.g. .NET)
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MS Access)
• Strong analytical and design skills
• Previous experience with TFS
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and recommend solutions
• Prior experience working with projects to address technical requirements, researching / addressing technical issues, and completing support related project deliverables
• Prior experience with an Agile development methodology
• Prior experience developing solutions for a Treasury function
• Prior experience writing system integrations / interfaces
• Prior experience interfacing with vendor support resources
