A Remote Network Security Specialist position is available for direct placement courtesy of Modis. Candidates must be within a quick flight distance to Kamiah, ID and be willing to work there on a weekly basis and as needed. The other times will be working remote. NO C2C or sponsorship now or in the future. The Network Security Specialist is responsible for all information technology activities including site-related networking, database, hardware and software support, VPN installation and remote monitoring, IT involvement in all new product development projects, and directing all enterprise-wide software implementations. It is critical that this position takes all steps necessary to ensure the continuity of all business services (e­-mail, phone system, servers, VPN, etc.) for the organization, as well as the interoperability of the company’s operating systems. The Network Security Specialist will develop policies, procedures, and technical standards to govern all IT activities at a company-wide level. This position must work in conjunction with all business leaders to identify how technology can assist in accomplishing strategic and tactical goals and objectives. It is the responsibility of this role to apply the concept of continuous improvement to by staying up to date with developments in the IT industry, and applying this knowledge to the development of an ongoing IT strategy,

IT Network Security Specialist and Responsibilities Include:

Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service.
Direct planning and implementation of IT systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, data collection, data analytics and business performance.
Work with the organization and leadership to develop strategies and plans to enhance services, improve user effectiveness, and increase optimization of critical business systems.
Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities, including vendors, and partner organizations the implementation and execute the plan of systems that drive value to the organization
Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, card access, security and surveillance systems and peripherals.
Provide guidance and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and reporting.
Preparation and administration of IT budgets and forecasts.
Other projects as requested.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
5 (five) plus years banking, financial industry in a similar role
Ability to travel 30% of the time
