A fortune 100 health insurance company is looking for new Customer Care Representative to work at their Fond Du Lac, WI location!

Location: S. Pioneer Rd. Fond Du Lac, WI 54935
Duration: 6 Months +
Hours: 8 hour shifts between 7am and 6pm

Pay: Depends on experience

Summary: Candidates will be working with members and providers in regards to claims, concerns, medication questions, etc. Some calls will be escalated or emotional, so candidates with strong soft skills preferred. Looking for candidates who will make positive impacts, make connections with callers, work efficiently, and have the ability to utilize multiple systems to get the information. Fast-paced, call center environment.
 
Job Details:


  • Responds to questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, contracts, eligibility and claims.
  • Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions.
  • Operates a PC to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.
  • Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
  • Develops and maintains positive relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and service issues.
  • Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
  • Proficient in all basic customer service functions.
  • Knowledgeable in finance/financial systems to be able to assist with inquiries.
  • Receives and places follow-up telephone calls / e-mails to answer questions.
  • Requires general knowledge of NGS services and contracts.
  • Seeks, understands and responds to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.

 
Qualifications:

  • Requires a HS diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years of NGS experience in an automated customer service environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound calls regarding enrollment and billing issues for health insurance.
