A fortune 500 company, and one of the largest discount broker companies in the US, is looking for new Grant Specialists to begin working at their Westlake, TX location ASAP!
Location: 2050 Roanoke Rd., Westlake TX
Contract: 12 months +
Scheduled: M-F, 8-5pm
Pay: Depends on experience
Our opportunity: The Grants Team’s primary responsibility is to process grant recommendations submitted by Charitable account holders (clients) to eligible public charities. Processing these recommendations entails entering grant information into our database, confirming an organizations’ tax exempt status and contact information and verifying the designation of the grant to ensure it meets the Charitable Program Policies and IRS requirements on donor advised funds. Grant Specialists also correspond with clients, investment advisors and charities when necessary. In addition to their daily grant processing responsibilities, Grant Specialists might be asked to provide assistance on our inbound phone line. Qualified candidates will be comfortable answering incoming calls from current and potential clients, financial advisors and charitable organizations. This position will report to the Grants Team Manager and will have extensive exposure to skip level leadership.
What you’ll do:

  • Research and interface with charitable organizations to ensure their tax-exempt eligibility to facilitate the grant making process
  • Provide top quality customer service to our clients and advisors
  • Process online, mobile and paper grant recommendations using multiple operating systems
  • Provide resourceful, effective problem analysis and resolution to clients
  • Speak knowledgeably to clients, advisors and charities about recent legislation surrounding donor advised funds
  • Coordinate complex grant arrangements such as international grants and grant agreements
  • Provide high-touch service to all Independent Investment Advisors
  • Serve as dedicated relationship liaison to specified high net worth clients and advisors
  • Support and participate in organizational initiatives and projects as needed

  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and an ability to discuss complex regulations and operational details with advisors, clients and charities
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to organize, manage and juggle competing priorities
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver technical information in lay terms
  • Highly adaptive, change-positive personality capable of working effectively within a team environment.
