A New Product/ Manufacturing Engineer job in Plymouth, MN is available through Modis Engineering. Candidates will be responsible for the design transfer deliverables of new product introductions (NPI) by working closely with R&D and manufacturing site operations to achieve the successful transfer of new products into manufacturing. This role has a broad scope and will touch all aspects of NPI from project initialization through post-production release. It will focus on build management, ownership of device master records (DMRs) and acting as the point of contact for domestic and international stakeholders.

New Product/ Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:
• Works within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool to ensure proper data setup and data integrity for NPIs.
• Works closely with manufacturing sites to ensure timely builds, material availability, and manufacturing line build scheduling. This may include some travel to domestic and international manufacturing sites in support of builds.
• Supports global operations functions for new product introduction. May focus on Mechanical, Electromechanical, Software Driven, or disposable products.
• Provides input and support in refining the Operational deliverables for new product introduction using a phase gate approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in ME, IE, EE, CS, or related field.
• 1-3 Years of experience.
• Previous experience or familiarity of working within an electronic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile or Windchill or other tools.
• Understands work environment issues (i.e. OSHA regulations, etc.).
