They are looking for a well-versed candidate who has experience with managing the intake of requests for review and prioritization by the digital channel products. Additionally, ensure all requests are processed, interfacing with the requestor and the correct teams required for the work.
Job description:
The Solutions Engineer, Digital Channels is responsible for the development, configuration and deployment of Risk Management’s collaboration forum. The forum is an integrated portfolio of Office 365 solutions, including the intranet (SharePoint Online), MS-Teams, Yammer, Document Libraries, Lists, Workflows, Flow, PowerApps, PowerShell, Stream, OneNote, Calendars, Outlook integration, and mobile based access through AirWatch. The Specialist will interface with underwriters and IT partners, serving as a dedicated resource for the implementation of requirements, taking design and architecture guidance from the Corporate Communications Digital Channels product team. The objective is to create and drive adoption for a new and effective collaboration forum for high-touch, VIP, white glove communication services in pursuit of earning highly customized policies in the excess-loss product line.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure a portfolio of SharePoint Site collections, Sites and associated Office 365 tools (Teams, SP Lists, WorkFlows, Calendars). This includes, but is not limited to; a library of site and page design layouts and templates, enabling permissions and managing governance and processes for provisioning of all applicable environments.
  • Triage and manage the intake of requests for review and prioritization by the digital channel product team. Ensure all requests are processed, interfacing with the requestor (where required for completeness) and the correct teams required for the work. Ensure all requests follow the governance and life-cycle and those inquiries are managed with a timely, quality driven delivery process.
  • Ensuring SLAs are met with a quality and timely delivery.
  • Identify and develop new and innovative ideas for the intranet.
  • Identify and help to deploy effective collaboration and sharing tools, techniques and formats to enable best practice sharing within accounts.
  • Monitor and enforce digital standards globally, managing compliance across all digital channels - Work closely with partners to ensure policy and standards are aligned
  • Communicate and enforce intranet strategy, vision and standards to intranet users, stakeholders, and partners
  • Manage gathering and analysis of metrics support scheduled reporting and assist with any ad hoc reporting needs.


  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience with digital products and channels
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013
  • Experience integrating the following products into custom workflows: O365, Teams, Planner, Yammer, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerShell, RestAPI, OneNote, Outlook
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and other front-end tools
  • Experience with the Teams-SDK, .Net/C#
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with Insurance workflows is desired, but not required
  • Documentation skills
  • Training skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams across an organization globally and with our business, and technology partners.
  • Project management experience a plus but not required


  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, information technology, or communications preferred
