Job Requirements:

  • Upstate Syracuse demand
  • Requires the technician to perform Refresh project support, documentation, deployments and asset management.
  • This tech will be lead for asset staging, remote hypercare support, address escalated issues from Project management team Network and site access to National Grid environment.
  • Travel is required near Syracuse if needed.
  • Tech needs to be familiar with Lenovo assets running Win7, office and Lync environment, checkpoint FDE.
  • SCCM software center deployments.
  • Identifying users build to ensure refreshed assert has all printers, mapped drives, applications and data transferred.
  • Experience with transfer tools a plus (i.e. USMT).
  • Maintain flawless records of old & new assets.
  • High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years’ experience.

 
Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides basic troubleshooting assistance and ticket resolution for personal computer users.
  • Supports computer users with installation of basic hardware/software and networking components to meet personal computer needs.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots basic problems with individual or multiple computer systems in order to maintain proper functioning; resolves issues including contacting and assisting vendors.
  • Recommends hardware solutions regarding personal computers in assigned areas.
  • Assists with computer studies, projects, and implementation of policies throughout area of assignment.
  • Conducts diagnostic reviews and produces error reports as requested by customers in order to identify and correct any problems.
  • Experience working with personal computer hardware, software, systems, local area networks and terminology.
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to operate computer peripherals including monitors, printers and scanners.
