Modis is currently searching for a Performance and Analytics Analyst job in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience working for an asset management company and be proficient with the Barclays POINT or FactSet tool.
 
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring validity and quality assurance of data for global performance analysis
- Working closely with members of product management, relationship management and portfolio management to
provide quality data to support their business functionality
- Implementing analytical and reporting framework for senior management and Boards of Directors
- Performing quantitative and qualitative assessments of portfolios/strategies/composites
- Acting as technical subject matter expert for Barclays POINT analytical tool
- Understanding the operational flow of data from upstream systems to Barclays POINT
- Conducting ad hoc reporting and analysis for Portfolio Managers
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. Progress toward or completion of CFA
and/or advanced degree.
- 3-5 years of industry experience preferably in fund accounting, investment operations, performance reporting, and/or
systems development/systems integration.
- Knowledge of VBA, MS Access
- Proficiency with one or more asset class plus analytic and/or attribution tools (i.e.FactSet, Barclays POINT).
- Significant experience with Fixed Income instruments and portfolios
