Power Electronics / Control Engineer

Use tools such as Mentor graphics to develop electrical circuit schematics and the latest analytical tools such as MATLAB and SPICE to verify circuit performance.
Work with PCB designers to optimize space allocations, signal integrity, and power flow.
Recommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirements
Participate and/or present in technical and program reviews
Experience designing magnetic circuits and components for power electronic applications.
Define, design, and implement control systems for power converters and inverters on different DSP and FPGA platforms
Define and analyze voltage regulation and current control loops
Define hardware and software platform requirements for the implementation of control systems for converters and inverters
Define performance metrics and solutions to achieve requirements, including stability, dynamics, harmonics, etc.
Understand the interaction between electric machines, power converters, inverters and their control loops
Extensive modeling and simulations of power converter/inverter control systems (Matlab / Simulink, etc.)
