A contract Powertrain Validation Engineer in job in Mount Vernon, WA is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. In this position, you will be responsible for organizing, managing and conducting assigned running business related powertrain validation requirements to include accurately tracking all running business software, hardware and scope changes. This job requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering along with project work in data analysis or testing. This position will go at least twelve months but may convert to direct employment with solid performance. The rate for this position is up to $34.00 per hour.


Responsibilities:
- Organize, manage and conduct assigned running business-related powertrain validation requirements to include accurately tracking all running business software, hardware and scope changes.
- Support the development and execution of associated running business design, validation, plan and report (DVP&R) test plans and documentation.
- Manage all required running business truck hardware and software configurations, fault reporting, mileage tracking
- Support PTV Test Engineers as necessary with their associated validation testing of general vehicle functions), sign off standards, and engine and exhaust installations requirements.
- Other powertrain validation duties as assigned.


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Project work from school involving Data Analysis or Testing.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving ability.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
