A Process Engineer job within the textiles industry in Burlington, NC is available through Modis Engineering. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well established and rapidly growing textile company. The Process Engineer will be able to contribute immediately to the company's success by analyzing current processes, identifying issues and areas to increase production and profit, and implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures. Ideal Process Engineer candidates will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering and some work experience within a textile manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer include but are not limited to:

Compile data and analyze current manufacturing and warehousing processes and equipment to identify areas for improvement
Develop, implement, and maintain plans for improving processes and inventory management
Prepare reports, diagrams, charts, and specific work instructions
Implement system for tracking materials from receiving through production and finishing to customer delivery
Responsible for cycle counts and physical inventory

Qualifications for the Process Engineer are as follows:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering
Work experience within a textile manufacturing environment (highly preferred)
Quality experience (highly preferred)
Great computer skills (Excel, SAP, MRP)
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to train employees who are resistant to change on new processes/procedures
Strong analytical capacity
Ability to view the "big picture", identify problems, and implement permanent "fixes"
